DOOH Award 2021 with three instead of one award and new voting system

Clear Channel's DOOH Award is entering its third round this year with two striking innovations. The 2021 award will be expanded in the categories and the public will now also be able to participate in the decision-making process through online voting.

In addition to the award for the best digital out-of-home campaign of the year, the Charity Award for the best NGO or NPO campaign and the Rookie Award for the best campaign of a start-up or DOOH newcomer will be presented in 2021. In this way, Clear Channel wants to show appreciation for customer segments that are increasingly relying on DOOH and show that this medium is not only successful for large national advertisers, according to a statement.

The Clear Channel team has sifted through all campaigns from 1 September 2020 to 31 August 2021 to determine a shortlist for the voting platform. Advertisers and employees of media and creative agencies are invited to vote from 20 September on which campaigns should be on the shortlist for the jury.

Dang Nguyen, a representative of last year's DOOH winner Credit Suisse, is a new member of the jury that will decide on the best campaigns on November 4. The awards ceremony will take place on November 17.
