Cannes Lions: First Silver Lion for Switzerland on the second day
Also on the second day of Cannes Lions 2021 there is reason for joy for several Swiss companies. Havas Genève wins the first Silver Lion this year. There are also three new shortlist places.
Another lion for Switzerland. On Tuesday, Havas Genève was able to convert the shortlist nomination for the work "Waiting Wins" into a silver lion in the category "Creative Data".
There is also reason for CRK to rejoice once again. The agency, which has already secured a shortlist spot and a Bronze Lion in the "Pharma" category with "The eventful life of Rosemarie," can now hope for another award for the animated film in the "Film Craft" category.
Who's McQueen Zurich can also hope for a lion. Together with Scholz & Friends Berlin, the film production company has realized the short film "Born of a dream - A Boy from San Mateo" for the watch brand IWC. Wednesday will reveal whether the submission will receive a Lion in the Film Craft category.
Two agencies hope in the category "Entertainment
Shoe manufacturer On Running is shortlisted in the Entertainment category at this year's Lions with its documentary "Run: The Athlete Refugee Team Story."
TBWA\Zurich, which received a shortlist place in the same category with the "Rail Tales" - in the original "MärliTrax" - can also hope.
In the two other "Entertainment" categories "Entertainment Lions for Music" and "Entertainment Lions for Sport" as well as in the categories "Digital Craft" and "Industry Craft" there were no shortlist placements for Switzerland.
