20th anniversary of the SDV Award: Vernissage at the Folium

Every year, the Swiss Dialogue Marketing Association (SDV) shows all the submitted campaigns in the form of an exhibition before the Award Night, which will take place this year on 6 June at Stage One. The vernissage took place on 16 May at the Folium on the Sihlcity site in Zurich. The exhibition can now also be viewed online.

The interest was huge. Visitors flocked to the Folium from 17.30 and were rewarded with a wonderfully curated exhibition. Divided into different categories, the submitted works were glued to colorful cardboard and hung from the ceiling on thin wire ropes. The mood was exuberant, like a class reunion, the visitors, most of whom were close to the industry, networked between the airy campaign portraits hanging down.

The categories

With its 20 categories, the SDV Award takes account of both the analogue and digital manifestations of dialogue marketing. The categories are divided into three groups: Industry, Media and Special categories. While in the first category a main prize is awarded, in the other two categories one can hope for gold, silver, bronze or a certificate. The categories remained unchanged compared to the SDV Awards 2018. All 20 categories were also open to international agencies.

Added value for guests

There were current dialogue marketing campaigns from the entire business world to discover. Interested guests saw work from a wide variety of industries and countless application variants. "In this way, the SDV Award wants to offer added value for agencies and guests of the exhibition," says Heinz Schopfer, the manager of the SDV.

Lively discussions about the campaigns on display prompted the guests to linger over an aperitif. A successful vernissage.

There will be great cinema at the Award Night on 6 June 2019 at StageOne in Zurich, where the winning campaigns will be awarded and the agencies honoured.
