The professional association PR Suisse is taking over the operational management of the Swiss Award for Corporate Communications. At the same time, the presentation of the next Swiss Award Corporate Communications has been set for 2020.

Award founder Roland Bieri and former project manager Daniel Bieri are stepping down from the operational management of the award after 15 years and handing over the management to the sponsoring association. The Swiss Public Relations Association SPRV (PR Suisse) is now the sole owner of the trademark rights.

Under the new management, the national award is taking a break this year and is postponing the next event to 2020 with the Award Night. PR Suisse will provide information about the call for entries and the dates in due course. "With this step, we want to continue to develop the award sustainably, maintain our quality standards and network even better within the industry," says "pr suisse" President Judith Lauber.

Under the founding duo Roland and Daniel Bieri, the award has developed into a well-known quality brand over the last 15 years. It is supported by a broad circle of patrons, volunteers and sponsors from German and French-speaking Switzerland. "It would not have been possible without the passion and many hours of unpaid work of everyone involved," says founder Roland Bieri. "The IAM's involvement at the ZHAW has given it an additional profile in the specialist discussion," adds Daniel Bieri.

Since the award was founded, its independent jury of experts has presented a total of 30 "Iron Communicators". This is the highest award for networked and efficient corporate communication. Winners in recent years have included ABB/Serviceplan, SBB, Die Post/Jung von Matt/Limmat and the City of Winterthur.
