Jung von Matt/Limmat and Wirz win Eurobest bronze
The Eurobest Awards were presented in London. From Switzerland, Jung von Matt/Limmat with the "SoundBook App" and Wirz with the "Ikea Sleep Concert" can look forward to an award.
This year's award season came to an end in London with Eurobest. With Wirz, Serviceplan and Jung von Matt/Limmat, three Swiss agencies had hopes of winning precious metal at the season finale. The "SoundBook App", which Jung von Matt/Limmat developed for Nordsüd Verlag, was successful. The app uses speech recognition to "set to music" the classic reading aloud of children's books and plays appropriate sounds at the right places. The innovative world novelty was awarded numerous creative prizes in 2017 - among them LIA Gold and bronze, Epica bronze as well as Bronze at the Cannes Lions and Lions Innovations.
Wirz also won bronze. With the sleep concert for Ikea, the Zurich agency won precious metal in the entertainment category. The event, which received a lot of media attention, was an eight-hour concert by composer Max Richter in front of a sleeping audience, who could configure their beds individually on the Ikea website beforehand.
