A total of 736 entries from corporate media and campaigns were submitted this year, 53 of which were awarded a Gold Cube.

The Fooby culinary platform from Coop and Notch Interactive was the only project to achieve three gold placements. This completely new culinary platform combines food services from A to Z for the first time: from the app with personalizable cookbook and how-to videos to magazines with trend stories and recipe cards in supermarkets to the interactive website with automated shopping lists and direct ordering function at Coop@home. Fooby opens up a new world of cooking for customers without boundaries between the supermarket, online and at home.

Fooby came out on top in the "Microsite / Website / App / E-Magazine" and "Crossmedia" categories, and also won a Gold Cube in the newly introduced "Content Strategy" category. "We are very pleased with this triple award and it demonstrates Fooby's thoughtful dovetailing of target group, market and brand insights to create a relevant content program for Swiss consumers," explains Thomas Schwetje, Head of Marketing and Digital Services at Coop. Coop's marketing team created and implemented Fooby with Notch Interactive, Unic and Virtue.

Fourth award for TV series Grill on Wheels

The last gold award went to Coop with Grill on Wheels in the "Moving Image Branded Entertainment" category. In 2016, their barbecue campaign became even more tangible thanks to this TV series with a dash of reality soap and conveyed the insight "barbecuing unites all Swiss" in an entertaining way. In Grill on Wheels, Coop sent weather forecaster Linda Gwerder and young chef Jean-Baptiste Coste on eight culinary missions to different worlds: Heaven (monastery) versus Hell (motorcycle rockers) or War (military company) versus Peace (hippie commune). Always with them, their little kettle grill. The series aired weekly on Wilmaa, Pro 7, Star TV and YouTube as twelve-minute episodes. The episodes and the accompanying recipes in super slow motion were available at Coop.ch/grillonwheels. Short versions were created for Facebook, Instagram as well as 20minuten.ch. Mattofilms realized the TV series for Coop, with Yjoo and Farner also involved.
