A bronze lion for Jung von Matt/Limmat in the Mobile category

Jung von Matt/Limmat wins bronze in the Mobile category at the Cannes Lions and thus the third Swiss Lion.

The Direct, Mobile, Cyber, Creative Data and Innovation categories were awarded in Cannes on Tuesday evening. In the Cannes Lions categories Direct and Mobile, as well as in the Lions Innovation categories Creative Data and Innovation, Jung von Matt/Limmat had a good chance of winning a Lion.

In the Direct category, the people of Zurich were represented on the shortlist with the village telephone for Graubünden Ferien. It remained there. It is quite possible that the proximity to last year's high-flyer "The Swedish Number" - despite many differences - was too great for the jury.

In the second attempt of the evening, the Lions Innovation category Creative Data, more luck for Jung von Matt/Limmat: bronze for "The Sound Book App" for the client Nordsüd Verlag.

Finally, Jung von Matt/Limmat also won bronze in the Mobile category with the same campaign, securing the Swiss agencies their third Cannes Lions Lion of the year. With the Sound Book app, reading aloud can be set to music. Mysterious noises and dreamy pieces of music transform the fairytale lesson into a magical experience. (hae)

Note: Shell Brands International, based in Baar, won bronze in the Innovation category with "Gravitylight: Turning Gravity into Light". The work was created and produced in the UK and is therefore not considered a Swiss entry.
