BOSW: The shortlist

The juries of the Best of Swiss Web categories have separated the wheat from the chaff. The shortlist includes Switzerland's best web projects from last year. There are still 86 projects that can hope to win gold, silver and bronze as well as the title "Master of Swiss Web".

This year, the Best of Swiss Web Award recorded 389 submissions. This is 34 more than last year. The best of them can be found on the Best of Swiss Web 2017 shortlist. As in the previous year, six submissions from the Hinderling Volkart agency made it onto the shortlist. Namics and Unic can claim just as many this year. Jung von Matt Limmat is hot on their heels with five projects. Station, Notch Interactive and Equipe each had four successful submissions.

Large Swiss companies are strongly represented this year. Three entries each from Swisscom and the Swiss Mobiliar insurance company made it onto the shortlist. Last year's runner-up in the race for the Master, Graubünden Ferien, also has three projects on the shortlist. Coop Genossenschaft, SBB and UBS Switzerland are each represented with two projects. Axa Winterthur also made it onto the Best of Swiss Web list with two submissions.

The gold, silver and bronze winners in the 11 categories will be announced on April 6 at the Award Night. In addition, the "Master of Swiss Web" will also be chosen at the event. All projects on the shortlist can still hope for awards. (Netzwoche)
