Credit Suisse Viva focuses even more on social media at Swiss Music Awards

The Swiss Music Awards play an important role in promoting the national music scene while showcasing its artistic diversity. What began in 2008 at Zurich's Kaufleuten will experience its tenth edition on Friday at Zurich's Hallenstadion.

Credit Suisse Viva, the free banking package for young people and students, operated as "Main Sponsor" in 2014 and as "Presenting Partner" of the Swiss Music Awards since 2016. As part of this sponsorship commitment, Credit Suisse Viva launched an integrated campaign whose main focus is on the social media channels relevant to the target group. This year, the campaign is once again presented by the two Viva protagonists, Davis and Elie. The two friends have been speaking the language of the target group for Credit Suisse Viva since 2015, have a high affinity with the sponsorship topics, and ensure credibility and authenticity with their easy-going manner.

The Viva brand engagement takes place on the occasion of the 2017 SMA edition not only on Facebook and Instagram, but also on Snapchat under "CSviva". The individual Viva channels have already been continuously engaged since December 2016 with the announcement of the nominations, ticket raffles and extensive coverage around the SMA. For the first time, two "influencers" with a wide reach on relevant social media platforms were also integrated into the campaign. With posts and snaps, they create interaction between their respective communities and Credit Suisse Viva as the "presenting partner" of the SMA.

Davis and Elie will also provide glimpses of the red carpet and behind the scenes before and during the event, exclusively on the CS Viva channels, and share their impressions with the community. As a special feature, the Snapchat camera glasses "Spectacles" will also be used, allowing the "follower" a POV view of the two protagonists on the event.

The highlight of the brand engagement will be Davis and Elie's live audition for the winner of this year's "Best Breaking Act" during prime time on SRF 2 and oneTV.
