ADCE: Rich Swiss harvest

At ADC*E, Freitag wins gold, Ruf Lanz three times, Wirz twice, and Jung von Matt and Publicis once each silver.

With one gold and eight silver awards, Swiss agencies performed strongly at this year's ADC of Europe competition - and much more strongly than last year (3 x silver) - from. With a total of 20 awards, Switzerland is the second strongest ADCE nation in 2016 after Germany.

Freitag already secured a gold cube at the Swiss ADC competition with the in-house denim campaign in addition to Clio silver (Werbewoche.ch reported) and now also crowns the film with the top European award.

The film promotes an innovation by the Freitag brothers: fashion made from a denim fabric made of 0% cotton, but 100% recyclable. The two vaulting artists Constanze Schwarz and Ivan Nousse can be seen. On the back of a trotting horse they put on the F-abric denims. At the end, he makes them bite into an apple, like Adam and Eve. "Prêt-a-composter, Autumn 2015" sums up the virtuoso film.

Ruf Lanz is awarded three silver trophies and six nominations at the ADC of Europe. The pointed campaign "Classical concerts for beginners" for the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich was awarded two silver medals in the categories Newspaper Advertising and Magazine & Trade Advertising. The film "Second Chance" for Museum Haus Konstruktiv, which has already won a Cannes Lion, was also awarded silver in the Design & Craft category.

Wirz secures two silver medals with Ikea: The literary review of the 2015 Ikea catalog has already won Epica and Eurobest gold and landed on the shortlist in Cannes. The campaign crowns the rich yield of the award year with the double silver at the ADCE European Creativity Festival in Barcelona.

Also successful with "old acquaintances" were Jung von Matt/Limmat and Publicis. Jung von Matt's interactive poster campaign "The Great Escape" for Graubünden Tourism has already won a number of awards - Clio Gold, ACD Switzerland Gold, Eurobest Gold, Silver in Cannes, "Poster of the Year" at the Swiss Poster Award, and four Wood Pencils at the D&AD. So now silver at the ADC Europe joins the award collection of the great escape in the main station.

Publicis also wins silver with its equal pay campaign "Women should not be worth less" for the Women's Center Zurich - the campaign won several awards for individual elements at ADC Switzerland 2015 and won a golden cube as an overall work in 2016. (hae)
