The communication concepts of the Jung von Matt/Limmat agency for Swiss Post and the City of Winterthur, Department of Social Affairs, were awarded trophies yesterday at the Escherwyss Club in Zurich. The nine-member, independent and honorary jury of experts awarded the trophies along with four nominations.

This year, the expert jury of the Swiss Award Corporate Communications presented two project teams with the award trophy created by Ticino artist Pedro Pedrazzini. They went to the Jung von Matt/Limmat agency for the Swiss Post's project "The Yellow Tour" and to the City of Winterthur, Department of Social Affairs, for the entry "A Winterthur Christmas Story".

The independent, honorary jury judged the projects to be "outstanding examples of networked, high-performance corporate communications in Switzerland. In his laudatory speech, jury president Peter Stücheli-Herlach, Professor of Organizational Communication at the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, justified the decision on the basis of the advertised assessment criteria. In addition to the two trophies, the jury awarded nominations to four other entries: AXA Winterthur for the "AXA Newsroom" project, Credit Suisse for "EURO 2016 campaign", Hotz Brand Consultants for Post CH AG, and Swiss International Air Lines for "Flotation of the Boeing 777 / C Series 100". According to the jury, these four nominated projects are "excellent examples of networked and powerful corporate communications". All nominees were presented with a certificate by jury members Cla Martin Caflisch of the Central Board of PR Suisse and Urs Frei, Head of Corporate Communications Heineken Switzerland.

The two organizers Roland and Daniel Bieri, partners of the agency Bi-Com, thanked the numerous sponsors, without whose support the already twelfth consecutive realization would not have been possible. The national award is supported for the second time by the professional association PR Suisse with its approximately 1,500 members as an exclusive industry partner. "Once again, we were pleased to see that the jury was able to award outstanding quality projects that show what Swiss PR and communications professionals are capable of achieving," said President Peter Eberhard, explaining the cooperation.

The thirteenth year of the award is already upon us. Entries can be submitted from March 1 to July 15, 2017, and the award ceremony will take place on September 7.
