Award-CC: Two trophies awarded

The winners of the Swiss Award-CC of the year 2015 have been determined: The communication projects of the energy company Swissgrid and of Hej Creative/Nik Schwab for Swiss Tennis were awarded a trophy at the Zurich Club Escherwyss.

It was already the eleventh award ceremony of the Swiss Award-CC. An eight-member independent jury of experts awarded the trophies along with four nominations and gave reasons for their decisions.

The neutral jury decided again this year as an independent and honorary expert committee. With its decision, it rates the aforementioned projects as "outstanding examples of networked and high-performance corporate communications in Switzerland". The chairman of the jury is Peter Stücheli-Herlach, Professor of Organizational Communication at the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences. In his laudatory speech, he explained the jury's decision based on the advertised criteria for the award. The award was presented this year for the first time in exclusive partnership with the industry association pr suisse.

In addition to the two trophies, the jury awarded a nomination to four other entries. These are the following projects: Agentur Achtung! Hamburg for Swiss Airlines, Klinik Hirslanden Zurich, Namics 13 for Swisscom and the Urner Kantonalbank. According to the jury, these projects are "excellent examples of networked and powerful corporate communications in Switzerland". All nominees were presented with a certificate by jury member Cla Martin Caflisch of the pr suisse central board.

Representatives of last year's award winners SBB and SwissLife also appeared at the award ceremony. They explained how their award-winning projects had been sustainably implemented in the market - and that the award trophies had triggered a motivating response in the team and in the market. At the well-attended award ceremony, industry representatives exchanged views on trends and quality benchmarks in Swiss corporate communications. Singer/songwriter Andy F. surprised the audience with his specially composed song in Zurich dialect to accompany this year's award, based on his song "Züridate".

Award initiator Roland Bieri expressed his gratitude to the president of the industry association PR Suisse for the first-time exclusive partnership and thanked the many and long-standing sponsors, without whom this eleventh edition would not have been possible. As of this year, the award is supported by PR Suisse with its more than 1,500 members as an exclusive industry partner. The twelfth year of the award is already just around the corner; entries can be submitted from March 1 until July 15, 2016, and the award ceremony will take place on September 8.
