The former head of communications at Die Mobiliar, Alice Chalupny, will become a partner at the strategic communications consultancy Hirzel.Neef.Schmid.Konsulenten. She will be succeeded by Irene Fischbach.

Mobiliar: Irene Fischbach (l.) comes, Alice Chalupny (r.) goes.

Alice Chalupny (43) has played a key role in shaping the positioning of Mobiliar and its top management in internal and external communications since 2019. Together with her team, she designed and implemented communications for extensive change projects, such as the agile organization, digital transformation, and Mobiliar's sustainability campaign. She also consistently aligned corporate communications with its centerpiece, the newsroom, to the goals of the corporate strategy. On the organizational level, Alice Chalupny transformed Corporate Communications into a role-based organization with agile working methods, as one of the first communications departments in Switzerland to do so. As of October 1, Alice Chalupny joins Hirzel.Neef.Schmid.Konsulenten, a strategic communications and business consulting firm, as co-owner and partner.

Succession is fixed

Her successor is already in place: Irene Fischbach (51) will be Mobiliar's new Head of Corporate Communications as of September 1. She has many years of management experience in various communications functions in the Swiss insurance and energy industries. She currently heads communications for the Roundtable on Sustainable Palmoil (RSPO) from Singapore. Previously, she led corporate communications at the transmission system operator Swissgrid and was responsible for the marketing and communications activities of the international division at Swiss Life, as well as media relations and internal communications for the Group and the Swiss business.
