After the generation change in the board of the volleyball club STV St. Gallen, there is now also a breath of fresh air on the brand level. The wish of the new board: to modernize the St.Gallen city club and, through a new brand identity, to create greater awareness in the public sphere as well as to increase the feeling of togetherness within the club. By redesigning the brand, they wanted to connect and inspire existing members more, but also attract potential sponsors and new members. The goal in the creative process, according to a statement, was to embody the club's identity, increase its prestige as a brand and ultimately demonstrate the club's connection to its hometown.
The Asap agency was commissioned to do this, bringing together two elements as the centerpiece of the new design: the traditional lines of volleyball and the famous cathedral of St.Gallen. The result, according to the agency, is a timeless brand that has the ability to reflect both the past and the future of the club.
