Raja Group with new CSR strategy

With a new director of CSR and sustainable development, Raja is prioritizing the minimization of CO2 emissions, procurement policies and the development of a sustainable product portfolio.

The supplier of packaging, office supplies and industrial equipment is introducing a department for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and sustainable development under the management of Brigitte Thieck. With Managing Director Danièle Kapel-Marcovici as her direct supervisor, Thieck also becomes a member of the Group's Executive Board. As a result, Thieck assumes responsibility for the development and management of the CSR strategy in the total of 26 subsidiaries and 19 countries in which the Group operates. As Director of CSR and Sustainable Development, Thieck will focus in particular on minimizing CO2 emissions, procurement policy and developing a sustainable product portfolio. This includes packaging that is 100 percent recycled and recyclable and manufactured in Europe.

Cooperation with other departments

To this end, Thieck will work with the company's various management departments and their stakeholders, including the Group's customers, suppliers, financial partners and associations. The goal: to develop the Raja Group into the European market leader in its sector in terms of CSR.

Brigitte Thieck served as National Environment Manager & ICPE (Installations classées protection de l'environnement, installations classified for environmental protection) at logistics company Kühne+Nagel from 2020 to 2022.
