Miele Switzerland becomes new main partner of #Wirsindzukunft

Miele Switzerland supports the #Wirsindzukunft campaign, which is sponsored by Energy Switzerland, and aims to raise awareness among the population for more sustainability in the home.

Miele Switzerland is working closely with Energie Schweiz as the main partner of the #Wirsindzukunft campaign from 2023. The national campaign aims to raise awareness among Swiss households for more sustainability, energy efficiency and climate protection in their own everyday lives. With partners from the private sector, the support of Energie Schweiz and media partners, the campaign highlights the most diverse aspects of an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly future. In addition to reports, interviews and tips and tricks on the TX Group channels, other formats such as the Energy Quiz on the 20 Minutes app, the Salon Public or a V.E.P. camping area (Very Ecological Person Camping Area) at festivals are part of the campaign.

According to its own information, Miele has been CO₂-neutral at all its sites and thus worldwide since 2021, around 80 percent of all appliance deliveries are made by rail, and the vehicle fleet is to be completely converted to electric mobility in the medium term. The roof of the company building in Spreitenbach is to be equipped with a photovoltaic system in 2023.
