Oppenheim & Partner does PR for Accor

Oppenheim & Partner is acting as Swiss PR agency for Accor Northern Europe with immediate effect. The mandate covers both corporate and brand PR for all economy, midscale, premium and luxury brands belonging to Accor, such as ibis, Mercure, Novotel and Mövenpick. The focus of the collaboration is on their sustainable positioning.

After Oppenheim & Partner had already looked after Accor's "Luxury and Upscale Brands" in the past, the owner-managed PR agency is now responsible for all PR in Switzerland. As a press office, the agency is responsible for both corporate and brand communication for all economy, midscale, premium and luxury brands belonging to Accor.

As a hospitality group, Accor offers experiences in 5,300 hotels and 10,000 restaurants and bars in 110 countries. With brands such as Fairmont as well as Swissôtel, Mövenpick, MGallery, Mercure, Novotel and ibis, Accor hotels are represented worldwide.

"We are pleased that PR and the entire range of all brands are now also part of our service mandate. This makes the collaboration even more exciting," says Managing Partner David Oppenheim. Anne Wahl-Pozeg, Senior Vice President Communications Northern Europe at Accor, explains the agency selection as follows: "Oppenheim & Partner has shown us new ways, both strategically and creatively-conceptually, how we can successfully develop the Accor brand in Switzerland. The team convinces with expertise, network, good ideas and a lot of passion for hotel PR".

Strategic expansion in the area of hospitality PR

Since the arrival of senior consultant Tina Seiler, Oppenheim & Partner has expanded its hospitality PR activities. Among other things, the agency was responsible for the announcement of the Ritz-Carlton Zermatt. The Oppenheim & Partner team is also behind communications for events such as the Grand Opening of the Mövenpick Hotel Basel or the Swiss Top Event "White Turf" in St. Moritz.
