Achim Podak strengthens the communication of the HSG
The Communications Department of the University of St.Gallen (HSG) is getting a new Head Media Relations: Achim Podak will take up the position at the business university on June 1, where he will be responsible for all media relations.
Most recently, Achim Podak worked for Swiss radio and television SRF for around 15 years, including as editor, producer, and editorial and division manager. At SRF, he was instrumental in expanding science reporting and was responsible for numerous collaborations and special formats such as the national project "Dataland" or the science focus "SRF Menschmaschine". "It is a privilege to be able to become part of such an excellent and vital organization as the HSG. Communicating science clearly is more important than ever. I want to work together with a strong team to achieve this," says Achim Podak. "We are very much looking forward to our new colleague, who brings with him many years of journalistic experience and has already realized many exciting, successful formats," says Adrian Sulzer, Head Corporate Communication at the HSG.
