Seed shows for Uni Basel what humanity would be without science

The Zurich-based film production company Seed has produced a new image film for the University of Basel.

The University of Basel is a university of international reputation with a broad range of subjects. In research, it focuses on the fields of life sciences, natural sciences and medicine. Founded in 1460, it is the oldest university in Switzerland. In university rankings, it ranks among the best 100 universities in the world.

With the new film, the University of Basel wants to express with a wink of the eye what makes it tick: origin, teaching, research, spin-offs, cooperation with industry, all the way to the most famous honorary doctorate in Switzerland. Seed developed and realized the film in close collaboration with the University of Basel. The film was directed by Adrian Wisard.

The film will be used on the website, social media, and as part of presentations and events.
