Jung von Matt Limmat and BCG make a statement against discrimination

The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is once again standing up for inclusion, openness and tolerance in the workplace and, together with Jung von Matt Limmat, is making a statement that many other Swiss brands have joined. From ABB to ZKB, the CEOs of a total of 24 companies are clearly positioning themselves against discrimination based on sexual identity and beliefs.

During Pride month in June, 24 CEOs of major companies are putting an exclamation mark on the fact that no one is discriminated against in the workplace on the basis of their sexual orientation or gender identity. With the "LGBTIQ Pledge" they want to lend weight to their aspirations. The statement with the pledge appears in the NZZ from Saturday and can be seen on APG screens from June 14 to 20.

Personal commitment

"I am very pleased to be able to place a strong statement for LGBTIQ people in a prominent position again this year. Not only were we able to increase the number of participating companies compared to last year, but we were also able to personally engage the executives to stand up for positive change with their name and signature - a great signal," says Daniel Kessler, Head of Switzerland at Boston Consulting Group. This personal commitment illustrates the importance that companies attach to this issue, he adds. But companies also benefit, Kessler continues: "As has been proven scientifically many times over, diverse teams are more innovative, more creative and more efficient, and this insight is gradually taking hold in all companies."
