Replacement for Communication Summit: ZPRG and ZPV launch Comsumcast
The Comsumcast is the replacement for the Communication Summit, the annual meeting of the Zurich media and PR industry, which is cancelled this year due to corona. Hans-Peter Nehmer, Head of Corporate Communications and Corporate Responsibility at Allianz Suisse, is the guest in the first episode of the monthly talk podcast. The host is SRF journalist Reto Lipp.
In 2021, the Communication Summit will be cancelled due to the uncertain situation caused by Covid-19. The industry event, which has been established for years, always brings together around 350 professionals at ETH Zurich in February. As a replacement, the two organizing professional associations, the Zurich PR Society ZPRG and the Zurich Press Association ZPV, regularly offer fresh insights in the newly launched Comsumcast.

Hans-Peter Nehmer first guest on the Comsumcast
In the first episode of Comsumcast, Reto Lipp talks to Hans-Peter Nehmer, Head of Corporate Communications and Corporate Responsibility at Allianz Suisse, about the difficulties of communication in Corona times and what lessons can be learned for internal and external communication. Nehmer, a communications professional, was a journalist and presenter on radio and television for a long time (Radio Z, SRF), and later switched to communications, working for Hotelplan and UPC Cablecom.
Nehmer has headed the communications department of Allianz Schweiz Versicherung since 2010. There he is also responsible for corporate responsibility. In addition, last year he was elected President of the Harbour Club, a network that represents the interests of corporate communications chiefs.
