Basler Insurances Decide in Favor of Aperto

Basler Versicherungen decided to have its digital ecosystem redesigned by digital agency and IBM subsidiary Aperto as part of a pitch.


Aperto won over Basler Versicherungen in a pitch for the budget for the relaunch of the customer platform. The digital agency, based in Berlin and Zurich, is responsible not only for strategy, conception, user experience and visual design, but also for the technical implementation based on the Magnolia content management system.

As part of the project, the three existing platforms Information, Sale as well as Self-Service according to a statement, in order to be able to better inform and serve customers in the areas of banking and insurance in the future. Basler Versicherungen wants to create a new digital ecosystem and redesign the entire user journey.


The aim is to pick up users with the new modular concept with the Baloise brand at various touchpoints and to be able to serve them in a targeted manner. The new platform will thus become the digital entry point for information, advice, sales and administration for all customer groups (private individuals, companies, brokers, asset managers and pension funds).

The digital agency and IBM subsidiary Aperto has already been serving Baloise since 2015 and can further expand the customer relationship with this project.
