Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank (BLKB) plans to renew its branches over the next four years. The offering will be adapted to changing customer behavior and focus on advisory services. Advisory activities will be strengthened and the spatial experience will be renewed. The design concept for the realignment of their branches was developed in a co-creation process with customers and non-customers. Several workshops and surveys were conducted over the past months. The findings from these form the basis for the realignment: the majority of customers place the quality of advice at the center and, in the case of more complex issues, would like to talk to an advisor.

The new appearance in the branches is based on the brand essence "My Sparring Partner" and the brand values personal, committed and sustainable. Customers should feel at home. Upon entering the branch, a horizon opens up to a view of Baselbiet, black-and-white images portray the canton. Warm colors and sustainable, natural materials underscore the bank's competent approach in an informal atmosphere. The conversion of the locations and thus the implementation of the concept will start in summer 2017 with the customer zone at the headquarters in Liestal.
