Goldbach Interactive wins social media account from Deichmann

Deichmann commissions Goldbach Interactive to manage the social media channels of 22 national companies. The collaboration is already underway.

Following an official invitation to tender at the end of 2016, Deichmann commissioned the digital agency Goldbach Interactive to manage and develop all social media channels for the core brand in Germany as well as for its 22 national companies and selected brands.

Goldbach Interactive takes over the community management and the performance-oriented as well as engagement-oriented advertising on popular networks and platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+.

"In Goldbach Interactive, we have found a professional and reliable partner who convinced us on all levels in the pitch," says Thorsten Hennig, Head of Online Marketing & Social Media at Deichmann.

Goldbach Interactive won the social media account thanks to the close cooperation of all three agency locations in Constance, Vienna and Zurich. Accordingly, Dieter Fassbender, Head of Business Development at Goldbach Interactive, emphasizes, "Our teams have combined their competencies across countries to form a new agency that is locally anchored while operating in the international arena. The newly won international Deichmann account confirms our strategy."

The Deichmann Group is the market leader in German and European shoe retailing, according to a statement. Headquartered in Essen (DE), the family-owned company has more than 3,800 stores in 24 countries and employs around 38,300 people.
