Farner wins road safety campaign

TCS commissions Farner Consulting with the implementation of the national road safety campaign 2017 - 2019. The agency prevailed in a two-stage process against various agencies.

Together with TCS, the agency is implementing the three-year campaign on the subject of visibility in road traffic. In line with the strong change in mobility behavior in recent years, the focus is on two-wheelers and pedestrians. All population groups in Switzerland are addressed.

In parallel to raising awareness and prevention, the campaign aims to dust off solutions and behavioral rules for better visibility and make them suitable for everyday use. The first works will be on display at the beginning of 2017.

The agency won out over various renowned agencies in a two-stage pitch process. Helmut Gierer, head of communications at TCS Verkehrssicherheit, commented: "In Farner, we have chosen an agency that understood the complexity of the topic and the demands on the new campaign very well and has worked with us to develop a concept that will enable us to break new ground in prevention work."

A multidisciplinary team from the Zurich, Bern and Geneva offices implements the mandate. Winning the mandate confirms Farner's integrated strategy, which develops effective communications solutions along the lines of research & analytics, content, creativity and digital expertise.
