Just in time for the start of the 15th Zermatt Unplugged on April 9, 2024, the partners have announced the continuation of their collaboration for the years 2025 to 2029. Zermatt Tourism and the municipality of Zermatt have signed a corresponding contract with Zermatt Unplugged. This regulates the mutual financial obligations as well as communication and in-kind services and provides long-term planning security for all parties. At the same time, long-term cooperation has also been agreed with the destination's most important service providers - Zermatt Bergbahnen, the Matterhorn Group and the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn/Gornergrat Bahn.

"Zermatt Unplugged is an integral part of the winter event calendar. With the new five-year contract, the next editions can be tackled," says Romy Biner-Hauser, Mayor of Zermatt. The acoustic music festival is to be continued on a similar scale as before.
