Swiss Location Award with more than 1,800 nominees
What are the best locations in Switzerland? That's what the Swiss Location Award wants to know again this year - and has almost twice as many nominations as in 2022.
From March 1 - 31, 2023, event organizers, event professionals, guests and visitors were once again able to nominate the most beautiful locations in Switzerland for this year's Swiss Location Award. More than 1,800 locations confirmed their nomination, which is almost twice as many as last year (2022: 958 locations).
"We are impressed by the diversity and quality of the participating locations from all cantons of Switzerland. We are proud to contribute to strengthening Switzerland as an event location with the award," says Dario Jann, managing director of Eventlokale.ch and project manager of the Swiss Location Award.
Public Voting on Eventlokale.ch
From May 1 to 31, public voting will take place on Eventlokale.ch. During this time, the participating locations will collect as many positive ratings as possible to increase their chances of winning one of the coveted awards. This year's award will be presented on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
The award is carried out by the event portal Eventlokale.ch and is considered a seal of quality in the Swiss event industry. Since 2016, the award has honored the most beautiful and best locations in ten different categories. The number of points achieved determines the award of the "Recommended", "Excellent" or "Outstanding" seal of approval. Since 2016, 1,948 locations from all over Switzerland have received awards.
