Dorothea Karl leaves Zürich Tourism

Dorothea Karl and her teams were responsible for the MICE business in the greater Zurich region as well as the markets work. Under the sometimes more than difficult conditions during the covid pandemic, she and her team were able to bring value-added congresses and meetings along the defined economic clusters to Zurich, the organization writes in a statement. She and the markets team succeeded - despite months of massive travel restrictions - in maintaining and intensifying contacts in the 14 markets served by Zürich Tourism.

According to Zürich Tourism, Karl is leaving the organization at his own request and is looking forward to a new orientation. Thomas Wüthrich, Director of Zürich Tourism, will take over the leadership of the team ad interim from mid-May.
