13th Empack went off successfully in March

At the end of March, the central national industry meeting point for the Swiss packaging scene took place at Bernexpo. With 77 exhibitors and a diverse supporting program, the 13th edition of Empack offered visitors an extensive expertise in specialist topics and innovations.

BernexpoWith the overarching trade show theme "The future of packaging", Swiss industry expertise was brought together at Empack. With the connecting themes of sustainability, climate protection and digitalization, exciting synergies were offered between exhibitor concepts, specialist presentations and the supporting associations such as SVI and VLI. The overarching theme of "Greenpack - closing the loop on plastics" was comprehensively honored by the SVI with a wide range of specialist presentations on alternative raw materials, sustainability, the circular economy and climate protection.

Use synergies

With the two trade fairs "Empack" and "Logistitcs & Automation", numerous synergies could be used to represent the entire value chain of the packaging industry. Indeed, this has a direct impact both on intralogistics, handling and transport of goods, as well as on the reduction of emissions and the emergence of new services. Therefore, according to the organizer Easyfairs, the parallel staging of the two events was well received by exhibitors and guests alike.

Trend topic sustainability: presentations at the "Packaging Talks"

Sustainability in the packaging industry was a particularly big topic in numerous presentations and talks. Here, in addition to the diverse supporting program, Empack also presented the tried-and-tested "Packaging Talks" technical lectures in cooperation with its partner SVI. The audience was able to learn from various experts from the fields of research, development and science and also benefit from a valuable exchange of knowledge at panel discussions.

Outlook for the Trade fair strategy with "365°Approach"
