Swiss industry get-together "360° Entertainment" takes place at the end of March
With the "360° Entertainment" congress, the industry meeting of the Swiss entertainment business will take place in Andermatt at the end of March. The live event organized by Ticketcorner and ESB is all about moving into the future.
The organizers have moved closer together in the past two years. Flexibility and inventiveness have been more in demand than ever due to constantly changing requirements. New entertainment formats have emerged. New technologies are making inroads.
The mood is one of optimism, as the title of the talk "We will emerge strengthened from the crisis" by event legend André Béchir suggests. In conversation with moderator Sven Epiney, he ventures a concrete look into the future. This will be changed, because the industry is currently undergoing a fundamental transformation. Mathieu Jaton, CEO of Montreux Jazz Festival, will explain this in his talk about the global music business.
What the new normal looks like in the industry and what answers have been found to it will be discussed at the "360° Entertainment" congress. Major Swiss media companies are also taking part. Here in particular, the importance of live entertainment is changing dramatically.
On March 29 and 30, 2022, the most important representatives of the event industry will meet at the congress in Andermatt. Over the two days, 55 speakers from the national and international event world and around 300 other entertainment professionals are expected.
New payment systems, technologies and sustainability
New collaborations with sponsors and the media are discussed, and the topic of sustainability is given high priority. New technologies are also a topic in the wide-ranging program. These range from the metaverse, avatar art, crypto tokens and NFTs to the blockchain as a payment system.
The metaverse - a parallel world in which people live as avatars - has also reached the event industry. This was already made clear by rapper Travis Scott's concert in the virtual universe of Fortnite. And Swiss rapper Didi also made an appearance in the parallel world (Werbewoche.ch reported). Frank Ditz from Meta will speak about this on stage.
"Who's Who" of the entertainment industry
After a year in the digital space, the exponents of the industry are now coming together again in person in Andermatt. Companies from all sectors are represented - event organizers, venue operators, sports associations and clubs, artists, media, sponsors, infrastructure providers and tourism regions. Speeches and podiums will provide a 360-degree view into the inner workings of Swiss entertainment.
"Never before has the anticipation been so great, never before has the gathering been so important," agree the two organizers Hans-Willy Brockes of ESB Marketing Netzwerk and Andreas Angehrn of Ticketcorner. The congress, they say, is a must-attend event for the entertainment industry and everyone who works in this field.
"360° Entertainment" takes place for the sixth time and is organized by Ticketcorner and ESB Marketing Netzwerk as a two-day congress at the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen in Andermatt. The congress will be held in compliance with the current Corona measures.
