Five Basel companies present the "event box
The individually compiled and personally delivered "Eventkiste" is an idea of five Basel-based companies: It accompanies online events or stands in as a substitute if an event has to be canceled.
With snacks, drinks or giveaways and personal greetings, the event box is intended to accompany online events - or to fill in as a stopgap if a physical event has to be canceled at short notice.
The event box is a joint offer by the event agency Aufgetischt, Suan Conceptual Design, Werner Druck und Medien, Kurierzentrale, which takes care of logistics, and the StadtKonzeptBasel network, which is responsible for local communication and product scouting.
"We offer an all-round service from a single source. Each box is individually packed and matched to the event in question - from the selection of products to the greeting card and the design with the company's own branding," explains Simone Arnold from Aufgetischt. "In doing so, we give preference to products from regional producers of the companies in question and support local businesses at the same time."
Delivery is always made personally with local courier services. Deliveries are made in and also beyond Basel. For example, local products can also be packed for Zurich - in which case this is also done by the local logistics partner. The boxes are not sent by mail, but handed over personally.
The event box is available in the variant "Small" from 20 francs, Large for 25 francs or on request also in an individual format. This basic price includes the delivery of ideas, project management, design, production and logistics. Requests for content are accepted online.
Deployment even after the pandemic
"I am convinced that our event box is a tool that can continue to exist even after the pandemic, when there will be fewer online events again," Simone Arnold is convinced. "With the box, you can catch the suspense of an event or continue the thread."
