Stars + Heldä to be continued in fall

On Saturday, the third episode of the 1st season of "Stars + Heldä" will be broadcast on Sat.1 Switzerland. The TV show, developed by the makers of Das Zelt, is to be continued in fall 2021. On "Stars + Heldä," Swiss stars meet everyday heroes who rise above themselves and touch our hearts with their stories, conveying true emotion.

In the middle of the industrial quarter of Egerkingen SO, the entire infrastructure of Das Zelt stood during the past four months and was allowed to welcome the who's who of the Swiss music scene in three different shows. A welcome change in the non-performance time for the artists. They are also the godparents for everyday heroes who achieve outstanding things with their stories and are allowed to receive the thanks of the artists and the host and presenter, Cathrine Steiner, on the Das Zelt talk couch.

But "Stars + Heldä" is also intended to be a platform for up-and-coming Swiss artists. This is not simply lip service, as is explicitly emphasized by Adrian Steiner, founder and director of Das Zelt. The promotion of talent has always played an important role at Das Zelt. Be it with the well-known audience shows such as the Family Circus or the Comedy Club. At "Stars + Heldä", young singers in particular are given the opportunity to present themselves to a wide audience.

Due to the strict requirements of the federal government - Das Zelt has been facing a de facto professional ban for almost 15 months - all broadcasts had to be recorded without an audience, except for the last recording. With Cisco Webex, a partner was found whose technology enabled the audience to be virtually connected to two oversized video screens. Up to 60 people dialed in comfortably from home to Egerkingen each time and were thus present live.

Adrian Steiner is delighted with the success of Stars + Heldä: "The need for emotional moments in these special times is clearly felt. We're very pleased that we've been able to add more than a few splashes of color and be present over the past few months." For this reason, Sat.1 and Das Zelt have decided to continue the successful TV vehicle next fall. The exact dates are to be communicated soon.
