Arosa Ranger again in action for the Arosa Lenzerheide vacation region

The Arosa Rangers are also now on duty in the winter sports destination during the high season. As hosts with a passion, they are on site at highly frequented locations and want to show with their presence that the safety and health of the guests is paramount.

The snow is here and the sun is shining - the conditions and the wide range of winter sports are currently appreciated by numerous guests. However, it is obvious that a large number of guests also causes questioning faces due to the current situation. However, to ensure that both guests and locals can continue to feel comfortable and safe, the so-called Arosa Rangers are currently on the road again in Arosa. The aim of the rangers is to avoid crowds in popular places and to inform guests about the applicable safety measures.

The rangers should also be a sign that the vacation region of Arosa Lenzerheide takes the Covid 19 issue seriously and that the safety and health of guests is close to your heart. "Arosa Rangers are not policemen, but hosts with heart and soul," emphasizes Daniela Steiner, responsible on the part of Arosa Tourism. Thus, the primary goal is to establish a constructive exchange between the guests and the rangers and thus to inform and sensitize the guests.

Positive feedback from both sides

Already over the Christmas period, numerous rangers were deployed in Arosa at various locations in the village. It has become increasingly apparent that the ranger deployments are proving their worth and are highly appreciated by various parties, as Arosa Tourism writes in a statement. "As we learn again and again from the feedback of the rangers, the visitors take the presence extremely positively and the rangers rarely have to intervene with criticism, because the measures are well respected," Daniela Steiner tells about her experience with the rangers.

In addition to raising awareness of the currently applicable federal protection measures, the rangers in the yellow vests are also the point of contact for general information and recommendations about Arosa. The exchange between the locals and the guests is therefore another added value of these missions.

Support for the locals

Thanks to the great support of many locals, the daily ranger assignments at four public sites can be well covered, the statement continues. In the snowsports area, further assignments are taken over by guest supervisors of Arosa Bergbahnen to ensure the consistent implementation of the protection concept.
