If you want to be an influencer or content creator, you need a lot of talent these days: creativity, high-level photo and video skills, and smart self-promotion. If you want to get to the top here, you have to work at it every day and have a lot of patience. With the Micro-Influencer Contest, the Sunice Festival would like to offer everyone who wants to go this way a platform and thus the chance to learn from the biggest influencers in Switzerland.

"Especially in these times, young people are stuck at home and feel like they're not really making progress on their path. We want to change that," explains Loris Moser, co-founder of the Sunice Festival. "With the Sunice Ambassador Contest, talented up-and-comers in the social media space who have only had a small reach get the chance to make a huge leap that would normally take them years."

Build your own brand as an influencer

The coaches of the Sunice Influencer Contest want to pass on their values and experiences to the participants and show that being an influencer is much more than a hobby and what this profession is really about. Arina Luisa will be taking part. The dancer and singer managed to turn her passion into a profession with the help of social media. "If you want to take this career path, it's not the number of followers or fame that's important," Arina Luisa explains. "Self-promotion, creating high-quality content, being creative every day and finding out what moves people right now. As an influencer, you build your own brand - all the way to your own business. You shouldn't underestimate that."

Voting on social media

If Corona allows it, the final with the three finalists and the coaches will take place on site in St. Moritz. The winner, alongside Zoe Pastelle, will be the new face of the next Sunice Festival, can spend a weekend at the Kempinski Hotel St. Moritz, look forward to a small amount of start-up capital to continue his business, and much more. Who will make it through to the finals will ultimately be determined by the community on the Sunice Festival's social media channel in weekly votes.

Until January 22, 2021, there is still opportunity to apply for a Participation in the Sunice Influencer Contest to apply.
