Nüssli builds and builds, even in the corona phase. When temporary architecture cannot take place at trade fairs and events, one undertakes permanent architecture.

Europe's largest cultural center with more than 1.8 million visitors a year is in need of a general renovation. The Gasteig Cultural Center (pictured above: Gasteig Interim Concert Hall) in Munich will continue to offer its usual diverse and lively program during its approximately five-year renovation - in the interim quarter with a new philharmonic hall in the Sendling district. According to the plans of gmp International, the Swiss company for event construction is using Nüssli the temporary concert hall in wood modular construction. Acoustician Yasuhisa Toyota provides the sound quality.

Multifunctional sports and event hall in Nuremberg

The city of Nuremberg is to receive a new multifunctional sports and event hall at Tillypark. The completion of the hall and the two functional buildings as well as the outdoor facilities is planned for winter 2020/21. As general contractor, Nüssli is responsible for the structural implementation of this major project.

The construction of the new sports and event hall (picture: the construction site at Tillypark) will take approximately eight months. From today's perspective, the hall will be completed in winter 2020/21. The schedule challenges are once again immense for the Nüssli team, and despite project participants from Germany, Switzerland and Austria - especially now during the current Corona situation not an easy topic - the project is going well so far.
