This year's treasure hunt is taking place under special circumstances for a given occasion. However, the five routes in the city of Bern, in Oberhofen/Gunten on Lake Thun, in Frutigen, in Burgdorf and in Roggwil are designed in such a way that the familiar distance rules can be observed without any problems along the way. There are also provisions at the finish: at the treasure chest at the finish, the route is signposted and regulated so that treasure hunters can observe the distance rules at all times.

All participants are also asked to use public transportation or slow-moving traffic and to observe the known hygiene measures. Treasure hunters are urged to remain on the trail at all times, either individually or as a family, not to form large groups, and to keep their distance from other participants. These measures should ensure that the treasure hunt is a carefree and safe experience for all.

The treasure hunt special supplement with the individual treasure maps will be available on July 4, 2020 in BZ Bernese Newspaper, BZ Langenthaler Tagblatt, Thuner Tagblatt, Bernese Oberland and additionally in the Confederation to find. The maps of each route can also be downloaded online.
