With temperature measurement at events

A thermal imaging camera now offers the possibility to cover the important safety aspect of increased body temperature. With fever measurement within seconds and anonymously via facial scan.

Protective measures such as hand washing and face masks have become commonplace after the Corona lockdown. Marco Rima (pictured) goes one step further and is the first Swiss artist to find a safe solution for his #NOPROBLEM!? tour in October 2020:

Because elevated body temperature is one of the most important symptoms of coronavirus disease, fever measurement is already being used abroad to identify potential patients.

Versatile and anonymous

The body temperature cameras, which will be available from the Aargau-based AV provider from June 2020, can be used wherever people come together: whether in schools, cinemas, theater halls, swimming pools or companies. The thermal imaging camera, which is the size of a smartphone, is set up in just a few steps and measures the body temperature, or the temperature of the face, without contact in one to two seconds. Thus, the body temperature camera can be installed as an additional protective measure at cultural events as part of normal admission control, without causing delays or increased staffing. The safe measurement from a distance helps to protect staff and minimize the risk of infection.

Although the body temperature cameras scan faces with an infrared thermal imaging module, no data on the person tested is stored for data protection reasons. Anyone with an elevated body temperature can be discreetly taken aside and sent home. Protection and safety can thus be provided quickly, in good time and without complications during public events and at the workplace.

The body temperature cameras will be used on Marco Rima's #NOPROBLEM!? tour from the end of October 2020. However, the German quality products will already be available for rent or purchase from June 2020 at AVMS Switzerland.
