Inevitable: ProLight + Sound canceled
In a time of questionable rescheduling of many trade shows, as if knowing if an event could even take place in June, Messe Frankfurt's ProLight + Sound has made a statement. It has been cancelled for 2020.
Messe Frankfurt announces the cancellation of ProLight + Sound, an important trade fair for Switzerland. "We have done everything possible and pulled out all the stops to be able to make up for Prolight + Sound 2020 as soon as possible. We would like to expressly thank you for the encouragement and support of large parts of the industry, who had announced that they wanted to go this way together with us. We very much regret the cancellation, but are convinced that this measure is unavoidable under the current circumstances," says Detlef Braun, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt (pictured above).
Messe Frankfurt says that at the current time it cannot be assumed that the situation will change for the catch-up date planned in the near future. Messe Frankfurt is therefore announcing the cancellation of the event. Prolight + Sound 2021 will take place from April 13 - 16.
