Vivendra: Catering and logistics for a good cause

Ecosystem is the new buzzword. Vivendra lives it and creates a system of inclusion of disabled people in everyday life. Also for events. The March Breakfast Club of Expo Event Swiss Live Com Association took place in the restaurant Sonne of the Vivendra Foundation in Dielsdorf.

The Vivendra Foundation has been running the Gasthaus zur Sonne in Dielsdorf for almost two years. It is one of the institutions of the foundation and in the Zurich Unterland. Vivendra is one of the largest training companies in the region, with 85 employees, 70 of whom are apprentices, twenty with an impairment. The head of catering at Vivendra, Mario Nigg (pictured), has many years of experience in the live communications industry. Among other things, he has managed the restaurant "Henry's" at Bernexpo.

The Vivendra Foundation organizes events with up to 150 people for schools, communities and companies. The core services provided by the foundation are catering and logistics services, for example shipping services. Its clientele includes such well-known brands as the Zürcher Kantonalbank and Victorinox. "We have nice orders, but could use more customers," says Mario Nigg.

Catering and logistics services for the live communications industry

Vivendra can accept and handle catering quotes for up to 150 people. These include: Apéro, Apéro riche, Buffet Lunch/Dinner, Served Lunch/Dinner, BBQ's, Opening Events, Open Day Events, but also deliveries without service where especially our kitchen team and chef trainees with disabilities are challenged.

The printing department as well as the packaging and shipping department work hand in hand. Vivendra can receive material from several suppliers, store it, assemble it as requested by its own client, pack it, enclose printed matter, address, frank and ship it and also deliver it through the logistics department. Mario Nigg says: "We adapt our services and develop together with our customers."
