Compresso pedals for the UCI Cycling World Championships
On Saturday and Sunday, the UCI Cycling World Championships will take place at the Dübendorf airfield. Compresso is responsible in the co-project management with Swiss Cycling for everything around the event organization that is not related to the sport - from ticketing to the hospitality concept to the infrastructure.
Around 300 athletes will compete in the elite, U23 and junior categories. In addition, more than 20,000 spectators are expected at the World Championships, which will be held in Switzerland for the first time in 25 years.
Compresso is responsible for the co-project management as well as side events and food trucks and gives the event a festival character. The planning and organization of the infrastructure - tents, furniture, technology, tableware and much more - also comes from Compresso. Together with Nico Mäder from MBM Gastromanagement and hospitality partner Samsung Hall, Compresso is setting up a real street food festival and aims to provide an attractive catering experience - with its own festival tent.
