Business Innovation Week Switzerland will now take place from September 30 - October 4 at Stage One, Hall 622, MFO Mehrwertfabrik and other venues in Zurich North. EXPODATA LIVE KOMMUNIKATION spoke with Managing Director Ewa Ming about the new launch.

Ewa Ming, what is the reason for the move to the new location? What was no longer good enough at Messe Zürich after twelve years?
Messe Zürich is a first-class location in every respect. But after twelve years of the trade fair, the requirements profile for an event for marketing, communication and digital has changed considerably. The Business Innovation Days Switzerland will be a marketplace with a new, innovative form of presentation for the participating companies at several locations with a multi-thematic spectrum.
This new form needs a different kind of environment. We need less classic exhibition space, but more meeting zones. In the new location, this set-up, this other basic facility in which our interest groups can present themselves, is already available and does not have to be built anew every year. For us as organizers, this removes the pressure to fill entire halls, and for our exhibitors, that of incurring high rental and booth construction costs in a competition of oversized booths.
