As of 2016, the Genusswoche will be extended and the Genuss meetings will now be held regularly throughout the year. The new concept allows for greater variety in the events. "We also want to stage and cultivate the other Gstaad seasons as a playground for enjoyment," says Thomas Frei of the Bernerhof Gstaad. "The new Saveurs are more broadly diversified, they are intended to surprise. "In addition to classic culinary connoisseurs' meetings, the Saveurs 2016 also include, among other things, a golf tournament, a train trip to Claude Nobs' chalet with delicacies or a tourism talk with prominent speakers. According to the organizers, local roots are always important, not least in the partnerships with the regional gastronomy/hotel industry, Gstaad Saanenland Tourism and with bakeries, dairies, butchers and comestibles.
