To Clowns and calories is the theme of the eponymous Consumption Theater, which will be making a guest appearance in Winterthur from November 13, 2015 to January 31, 2016. Visitors are immersed in a world of chandeliers, velvet sofas and golden angels. Special rail vehicles for groups from 10 to 2200 people are available at the SBB including historic trains such as the TEE, a modern saloon car or the parade train Red Double Arrow Churchill built in 1939. Apéros and dinners can be held in one of the four gastro locations, in the Conference Center or in a museum hall of your choice. As a premiere, the Swiss Museum of Transport will present the world's first indoor ski jumping facility. In the Aviation and Space Travel Hall, the dream of flying will come true for a maximum of six daredevils per hour. Romantics come to the Freudenfels Castle in Eschenz TG at their expense. The medieval complex above Untersee offers an atmospheric setting for company Christmas parties and year-end events. There is a choice of evening banquets with or without a supporting program, winter aperitifs with mulled wine, chestnuts and roasted almonds on the castle terrace, a fondue in the castle garden or a soup festival. All offers are aimed at groups with a maximum of 60 guests. Not only popular with families, is the adventure farm Jucker Farm in Seegräben ZH. Only a few dates are still available for company events at the end and beginning of the year. The offers range from an own Christmas market and a farm food festival to an outdoor fondue party with a farmers' tournament. The rustic shed made of old wood with a fireplace provides a lot of atmosphere. Baking workshops, scarecrow making, torchlight hikes or mosten can be booked as supporting programs. Over 300,000 lights bathe the Christmas hotel Seeburg in Lucerne in an atmospheric light. Numerous Christmas trees and a seasonal decor support the festive ambience. Christmas parties and anniversaries with up to 60 guests can be held in one of the restaurants; the modern Seeburgsaal seats 100 people and the historic Panoramasaal 300 participants. A highlight is the open-air fondue terrace with 80 seats, where guests can enjoy the Swiss specialty wrapped in woolen blankets. Hitzkirch
In former times knights resided between the Baldegg and Hallwil lakes, today the historic buildings are part of the seminar center Hitzkirch. For Christmas parties this year, the inner courtyard is illuminated in a fairytale way, fir trees, fire bowls and little chestnut houses invite to a wintry aperitif with mulled wine, cheese baguette and other delicacies. The event specialist Experience Switzerland has numerous ideas for company end-of-year celebrations in its portfolio, including snowshoe tours with fondue fun, curling or torchlight hikes in a Swiss region of choice. Larger groups are recommended to hold the event in a special location such as an igloo or in nature. Additional programs and shows can be booked on request. The winter offers of Erlebnis Schweiz are aimed at groups of 10 to 1500 people.
