Fantasy Basel: Platform for "Multimedia Generation

The first Fantasy Fair in Basel was a complete success and attracted numerous "cosplayers".From May 14 to 16, "Fantasy Basel" took place for the first time at Messe Basel. The peaceful and colorful event delighted fans and exhibitors alike. With Fantasy Basel, the organizers have taken the pulse of the times: The "Multimedia Generation" got its own platform with Fantasy Basel and accepted it enthusiastically. The high quality of the exhibitions and panels on display was just as convincing as the unique, cross-genre concept, which invited visitors to discover new worlds. "We are overwhelmed by the success and enthusiasm that the new festival has triggered. The quality of the exhibitors and the high number of cosplayers contributed a lot to the resounding success," says festival founder Martin Schorno, who is already planning the 2016 edition. Next year, the festival will move to a larger hall and will further expand the areas of gaming, film and books. Many artists, sponsors and exhibitors have already confirmed their participation again for next year.
