First place at the Milestone Awards went to Jucker Farm.For the fourteenth time, over 550 decision-makers from tourism, business and politics met in Bern to celebrate the winners of MILESTONE 2013. All winners also offered offers in the MICE sector.With innovation to a place of experienceIn first place in the "Outstanding Project" category is the Jucker Farm. The brothers Martin and Beat Jucker have developed their parents' farm into a nationally renowned excursion destination with over 800,000 visitors a year.The Service House for Switzerland MobileSecond place goes to Swiss Trails. Based on the Schweiz Mobil trail network, the company provides comprehensive services in the areas of guest services, transport, bike rental, accommodation, information and online booking.Kambly Experience TourSince 1910, Kambly in Trubschachen has focused on quality, authenticity and sustainability. Since May 2013, this can be experienced in a particularly impressive way on the Kambly Experience Tour, which was realised in collaboration with Switzerland Mobile, RentaBike, BLS and Emmental Tourism. The centrepiece is the exhibition at the company site in Trubschachen, where young and old can immerse themselves in the history and philosophy of Kambly.Conscious lifeIn the "Environment" category, the Umwelt Arena Spreitenbach won the race. The topics of sustainability and conscious living affect everyone. There is something for everyone to learn, experiment and marvel at in the over 45 interactive exhibitions. The Arena is also a popular venue for corporate events, seminars, trade fairs and congresses.Martin CandrianThe prize in the "Lifetime Achievement" category was won by Martin Candrian with his family business Candrian Catering Mr. Gastronomy in Switzerland's largest railway station and also successfully expanded beyond Zurich Main Station. The gastronomic spectrum ranges from take-aways to star-rated hotels, from traditional restaurants to catering services and franchises.
