Bundeshaus
In the evening, the Federal Palace is transformed and tells a "fabulous" fairy tale.

During the light and sound spectacle "Sagenhaft" (Legendary), the Federal Palace will be ablaze with colour, transformed into palaces of various kinds, the façade moving to music of different styles - fitted to the millimetre. For 20 minutes, a fairy tale is told that was invented especially for this event and is a voyage of discovery into Swiss sagas and legends.

Who invented it?Seven projectors in three projection booths from the event agency Starlight Events in Kilchberg make it possible. Around 15 people were called upon for the implementation. In three months, graphic artists programmed the show's 28,500 images and matched them to every window, pillar and ornament. For the third time, the Federal Palace will become a spectacle. The idea did not originate in Switzerland, however, but in Madeira. Brigitte Roux, co-owner of Starlight Events, saw a Christmas illumination on her trip and decided to bring it to Switzerland, but this would not have been possible without sponsors.

Sponsored byMigros can call itself the main sponsor. The cultural producer has contributed almost half of the budget of over 900,000 Swiss francs, as the NZZ reports. In addition, the Migros catering service is providing food and drink on the Bundesplatz. Other sponsors are the City of Bern, other Bernese institutions, organizations and companies. On the initiative of the organizers and with the support of the Cerebral Foundation and the Bernese Cantonal Bank, a wheelchair platform is now available. This will enable people with walking difficulties to enjoy the arts.Data"Rendez-vous Bundesplatz", 18 October to 1 December 2013, performances twice daily at 19h and 20:30h - except 24 and 25 November (Zibelemärit). www.rendezvousbundesplatz.ch
