There were no new additions to the top 10 German-speaking Swiss TikTok business accounts compared with the third quarter. Watson News and Coop each gained one place. Dentist Osmani and Nikin, on the other hand, lost one place each. Two sports accounts top the list, followed by two news accounts. Despite rapid follower:ing growth in the fourth quarter, SRF Sport just failed to make it into the top 10.

News and sports accounts are of great interest to the TikTok audience, as shown by the top 10 business accounts in German-speaking Switzerland with the highest follower growth in the fourth quarter. These accounts post relevant content with high frequency, which has a positive impact on follower:inside growth. The account @matten_fahrschulstar also recorded an exceptional development: The driving school has been on TikTok since April 2020 and enjoyed a follower:inside growth of +89% in the fourth quarter of 2022.

From the Swiss-German business accounts, the TikTok account of 20 minutes generated the most likes in the fourth quarter of 2022. SRF Sport is in second place, which can be attributed to the videos on the World Cup in Qatar. The account of dentist Osmani made it to 3rd place with his popular trending videos.

Frequent and regular posting is one of the basic requirements for the growth of followers and views. Among the business accounts in German-speaking Switzerland 20 minutes not only generated the most likes, but also posted the most videos, totaling 371 in the fourth quarter of 2022.
