Switzerland Tourism (ST) once again invites you to the Switzerland Tourism Content Creator Summit. After last year's summit with only Europe-based content creators, social media personalities from all over the world will finally meet again this year in the host region of Lucerne - Lake Lucerne.

The handpicked group of 29 participants will gather in Lucerne from June 25-28, 2022 for the professional conference followed by a discovery tour of the host region. The 29 content creators (influencers) invited by ST are travel content specialists, often with a focus on moving image. They are followed by many and often very engaged "fans" and "followers." Together, they have a potential of almost eight million social media contacts on Instagram and Weibo in China alone. ST was able to attract three particularly well-known content creators to participate in Lucerne: From China Xiangming Cui with over two million followers on Weibo, followed by Yit Keat Lee from Singapore with one million fans on Instagram, who is even on the Forbes "30 under 30" list. As well as with 760,000 followers Lulwa Al Kathaf from Kuwait. But also specialized creators, such as the blogger Maria Teresa Gomez from the UK with a focus on sustainable travel or Benjamin Martinie from France with a special interest in discovering unusual destinations, can be found on the list of participants.

A total of 20 countries will be represented at the Switzerland Tourism Content Creator Summit 2022: Belgium, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Spain, Canada, USA, Brazil, China, India, Japan, Kuwait, South Korea, Singapore and United Arab Emirates.

Conference and discovery tour

As the official airline of the event, Swiss will fly the Content Creators to Switzerland, so they can enjoy Swiss hospitality and reliability already on their way to the conference. The travel of the Content Creators within Switzerland with the Swiss Travel Pass will be made possible by the Swiss Travel System. ST has put together a program for the 29 content creators that essentially consists of two parts: On the one hand, a specialist conference including an exchange of experiences, workshops and presentations. The focus here is on further training and networking for the content creators. The qualified international speakers impart their knowledge and support the content creators in their professional development. On the other hand, the Summit consists of visits to exciting tourist destinations. The Creators will spend a day discovering the host region Lucerne - Lake Lucerne with attractive activities off the beaten track, for example in the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch, Switzerland's first biosphere and one of the worldwide UNESCO model regions, a hike through the Schrattenfluh with a cave visit and an e-bike tour on the "Route 1291" launched in mid-June. Or a wine tasting at a winery in Meggen on Lake Lucerne or morning yoga with yoga instructor and ex-Miss Switzerland Bianca Sissing on Inseliquai in Lucerne.

Liam Hackett gives final presentation

The professional conference of the first day will be concluded by the internationally known activist, author and CEO of the foundation "Ditch the Label", Prof. Dr. Liam Hackett. He is an advocate for issues such as equal rights, the fight against bullying and cyberbullying in particular, and digital technologies. He regularly gives engaging speeches to large audiences around the world, including once at the White House. He has received various awards for his achievements and commitment. For example, Hackett won the "Best European Marketing Campaign Award" in 2014, and the following year he was named one of the "Top 30 Social CEOs," as well as receiving an honorary doctorate from the University of Sussex.
