Hera Zimmermann accompanies launch of SRF Sport on TikTok

SRF Sport has been using TikTok since the summer. The concept is to get to match point within 15 seconds. Hera Zimmermann's agency is responsible for the launch in collaboration with SRF Sport's social team.

Since July 2021, SRF Sport has also been reaching its young target group on TikTok. The agency's assignment included setting up the channel - from brainstorming content to creating and publishing it, as well as community management and livestreaming. Now the assignment has been completed, writes Hera Zimmermann in a statement.

"Telling journalistic content in the shortest possible form is the biggest challenge. In just a few weeks, we achieved over 21,000 followers," says Hera Zimmermann. Some videos were played out within the entire Swiss TikTok community - like the video of Belinda Bencic with 350,000 views.

A highlight of the young channel was the first livestream event: According to the agency, the qualifying match of the women's national team attracted more than 10,000 viewers and generated comments every second.
