In August 2021, Burton launched its new Outdoor Versatility collection. A total of 13 influencers from four different countries accompanied this launch on social media. For the campaign, they grabbed their favorite pieces themselves. The influencers then went on an outdoor experience with the new collection, tested it thoroughly and then shared their experiences with the community.
The campaign was supported by the influencers @naturelly_michaela, @mrs.and.mr.fox, @gotoforest and @wanderblondies from Switzerland with reels, gallery posts and stories on Instagram. From Austria, @___verena, @stefan_sts_ @mrcfessler provided versatile content for the campaign. @ticket.to.anywhere and @youareanadventurestory supplied the communities from Germany with high-quality and appealing posts. In addition, Swedish influencers @hildurkarlsson, @linnea_lundkvist, @ebbaforsgren and @louiselolow created reels, gallery posts and stories on Instagram.
The goal of the campaign was that Burton is not only perceived as a snowboard brand. The influencers took the community and the new collection on an experience and showed that Burton also has the perfect range for other seasons. The posts were accompanied by a clear call-to-action. The stories on Instagram link directly via swipe-up link to the new collection where possible. All posts on Instagram can be found under the hashtag #OutdoorWithBurton.
Burton was founded in 1977 in the USA and initially focused on snowboards. Over time, the brand has evolved and now offers all products for outdoor activities in addition to snowboard equipment.
The influencer marketing consulting agency Webstages has been based in Zurich Seefeld since fall 2017. The entire team advises clients in all national languages and throughout the DACH region on their influencer projects.
